Okay.. Much better day today. 90 degrees, but we are in air conditioning in the SUV at 60!!!
It is flat. Very flat. Slight hills. Boring!
We are in for an almost 10 hour trip today. Maybe more...we keep stopping as we get Beca and mom drinking water more. We did our bible devotional today it was about marriage unity, stars in the sky and creation. We are still able to do 4 days at a time. We stopped in a tiny town, Blackwater. Instead of a one traffic town, this is a one windmill town! We needed a bathroom break and thankfully found it. Everything is closed, except the Senior Center! LOL!
Thanks to an amazing friend who sent me the links, we were able to use our verizon jetpack to watch an amazing Louis Giglio video. It is in 5 parts, but is only a total of 45 minutes long. Go for it! Watch it. My kids are sitting here with open mouths! Me too. Plus you need to see part 4! You will be blown away by the cross in you, holding you together! Anyways, we aim to drive all day, be uplifted by our video and devotionals and crash and swim late tonite at the hotel. Louis Giglio leads the Passion Movement. You can look it up on wikpedia. I challenge you to watch it all, and be blown away. It only gets more amazing as you watch the parts. Really, you will not regret it. The links are below.
We stopped for snacks at walmart and ate a lunch in the SUV. Later we saw a sign that said 75 mph!!! The men are ecstatic! Our friends Sue, and Scott took us in Ohio to a fast food place called Steak and Shake. We finally broke down our will power and we HAD to stop! We went there for dinner tonite. Below is a photo of us jumping for our daily jump shot, so Uncle Tom can see that we truly enjoyed it! By the way, it takes us 4-10 shots jumping before we get a good one. Back to driving...we will get to the hotel around 10:30 pm. Right to bed for everyone!
